LPN training guarantees a promising career that everybody desires for. LPN is also a great opportunity for all those to wanting educate themselves in a field full of benefits in very little time and get straight to earning good money. LPN allows students to attain their licensed practical nurse degree in a year only. Once they have the degree they can work, collect money and gradually also fulfill their dream of becoming a registered nurse. However, you can only take a step on the road that leads to RN position if you have cleared your LPN Nclex exam also known as National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nursing. You can sit for the LPN test only if you are eligible for it.
Once you have attained your LPN degree you cannot practice nursing till you clear the Nclex LPN test. The LPN test is entirely computer based. The test consists of a total 85 questions; each question that comes in front of you will be more difficult than the previous one. The pattern of the questioning is purely adaptive that makes sure that you are well versed in the subject. You can clear the LPN test if you have proper understanding of the subjects.

There are many websites that can help you in preparing for the LPN test, go through the sites and use the reference books and test patterns they have mentioned. You will easily find the reference books from your school library are also very helpful. Study all the subjects carefully. It is better if you study with the fellow LPNs in a group. Group study will help you in getting rid of any confusion that you have. Once you feel you have good knowledge, test your knowledge on the past papers and sample LPN test papers. These papers will show you where you stand. Do not sit for the LPN test until you are sure you are prepared for it. .Taking several lpn practice test and scoring very well on each should be a good indication that you may be ready.
